On Saturday April 11th the Miners hosted their 2nd annual Throwers Meet. About 80 athletes from 10 team brought throwers to throw in Beulah on Saturday. The Miners had a good day as the girls won the girls division while the boys tied for 5th. The Miner throwers picked up 7 PR's on the day along with some SR's. The girls started the day off with 3 girls making the finals in discus with Malayah Williams, Tori Ziman, and Bailey Buchfinck. Malayah took 2nd with a 100' 3" throw,

The team went to Dickinson on Friday April 10th for the Trinity Small Invite. The Miners had a good day in Dickinson as they pick 3 new events qualified for the state meet. The girls ended up finishing 2nd overall and boys finished 9th overall out of 15 teams. The miners had a few new PR's and a lot of SR's (Season Records) during the meet. The Miner throwers headed the 8 miles east to That Town Out East (Hazen) for a throwers meet on Friday March 27th. The Miners had a lot of strong performances from both the boys and girls on the day. Both the boys and girls took 1st at the meet out of the 6 teams at the meet. The girls picked up 1 new state qualifier with with boys having a few inch closer to the qualifying mark. The Miners headed southwest to Bowman on Tuesday March 24th for an early invite meet. The Miners had a pretty good start to the season with having 2 girls state qualify at the meet.
