Miners Finish off Season on a High Point at the State Meet
The Miners left for Bismarck on Thursday May 21st for the 3 day State Track & Field Meet. 19 Miners competed at the State Meet with 12 Girls and 7 Boys. The Miners had athletes going on all 3 days for the meet. The Miners had a lot of great performances with a few low points. Overall the Miner had a good showing on the podium during the meet. Miners have a Great Day in Beach
The Miners headed west for Exit 1 on interstate 94 for the South West Region meet in Beach on Tuesday May 12th. The Miners looked to pick up a few more qualifiers and to possible contend for a top spot in the team points race. At regionals an athlete can qualify by making the qualification standard or placing Top 3 in an event. Miners Battle some Wind but have a Successful Day
The Miners went to Minot on Saturday May 9th for the Glenburn Invite. The meet was a last chance for the Miners to qualify for state meet before the Regional meet on Tuesday. The Miners did find some new athletes that made the marks for the state meet as well as some new personal mark improvements on the season. Miners have a Rebound Day at Dickinson
The Miners went to Dickinson on Thursday May 7th for a somewhat of a last chance meet. The Miners had a good day overall picking up 2 new qualifiers for state along with 5 new all-time Top 10 performances and 4 new improved Top 10 performances overall. The Miners had a few close marks to qualifying on the day as well. The Miners had 25 total PR's on the day and the Girls finished 2nd as a team while the Boys finished 4th as a team. Miners Split Day Results in Some Great Success.
On Saturday May 2nd the Miners Split up in Bismarck as most of the team went to Shiloh for the Hunter Seifert Memorial while a few Throwers went to the Community Bowl for the 701 Throws Fest. The Miners battled the wind but ended the day having event champs at both meets and even broke a school record. Miners have Good and Bad in Dickinson
The Miners headed west on Tuesday April 28th to Dickinson for the Trinity Booster Meet. 21 teams came to Dickinson for the meet. The Miners had an Up and Down day as a team as some things did not go the Miners way and others had some great performances. The Miner Boys placed 9th out of 21 teams and the Miner Girls placed 3rd out of 20 teams. The Miners didn't pick up anything new qualified but did have 4 kids get on or change spots on the Top 10's and had a lot of PR's. The B

Miners Picked Up 1 and add a Few to the Top List.
The Miners took the short trip east to the town out east (Hazen) for a smaller meet on Monday April 20th. Monday was one of the nicest day of the season thus far and most athletes took advantage of the weather. The Miners had 40 new PR's on the day and had 9 kids get on or improve their marks on our Top 10 List. Overall the Miners had a lot of improvement in marks on the day and enjoyed the day. Miners had an Improving Day in Washburn
The Miners went to Washburn on Thursday April 16th for the Southern McLean Invite. The Miners had a great day as both the Boys and Girls finished 2nd overall as a team. The Miners had a total of 17 PR's on the day and improved a lot of their relay times during the meet. The teams didn't pick up any new qualifiers but had a few new marks that are close to making the standard. The Boys took 2nd overall and had a total of 12 new PR's for their athletes. Miner's Host Home Throwers Meet for a 2nd Straight Year
On Saturday April 11th the Miners hosted their 2nd annual Throwers Meet. About 80 athletes from 10 team brought throwers to throw in Beulah on Saturday. The Miners had a good day as the girls won the girls division while the boys tied for 5th. The Miner throwers picked up 7 PR's on the day along with some SR's. The team went to Dickinson on Friday April 10th for the Trinity Small Invite. The Miners had a good day in Dickinson as they pick 3 new events qualified for the state meet. The Miner throwers headed the 8 miles east to That Town Out East (Hazen) for a throwers meet on Friday March 27th. The Miners had a lot of strong performances from both the boys and girls on the day.
